Midwife
Alternate Mondays 9.30am – 12.00pm
Our midwife can help you with all aspects of care during your pregnancy and up to 28 days after delivery, with an overlap with the Health Visitor. The initial booking appointment will be at Yeovil District Hospital. Subsequent antenatal care is carried out at the practice or the hospital where you are booked to have your baby – Yeovil Maternity Hospital or Dorset County Hospital. Women may also choose to have a home delivery, if it is clinically safe to do so, and the midwife will give support for this. Antenatal clinics are held at the surgery and the midwife can help with regard to parentcraft classes during this period.
